419 Gang Who Dupe People With Fake Currency Nabbed In Lagos

Lagos State Police have arrested 5 members of an armed robbery gang disturbing residents of the state and recovered many locally made cut to size guns and cartridges from the gang.

The Command equally recovered fake foreign currencies from one Chukwu Emeka Okafor and Oyemuchi Nwoko. The suspects confessed they belong to a 419 syndicated headed by one Kapo Alhaji in Mushin.

The State Commissioner of Police, Mr Imohimi Edgal disclosed this while parading the suspects before journalists at the Command’s Headquarter.

The suspects will be charged to court at the end of investigation.
