Photos: New Set Of Cultists Surrender Weapons And Charms In Rivers As They Destroy Shrine


Some new set of cultists reportedly turned new leaf yesterday at Omuku area of Port Harcourt in Rivers State after making the decision to renounce their membership and change their evil ways.

This is coming few weeks after over 300 ex-cultists and ex-militants denounced cultism in Salvation Ministries, while the area Commander, S. A. Sani of Omoku Police Divisional Headquarters in the early hours of Thursday, 2nd August, 2018, was alerted that a number of youths totalling 103 followed suit by not only surrendering their weapons to the Nigerian police Divisional Headquarters Omoku but also repenting.

It was learnt that the presiding Pastor of Salvation Ministries Pastor David Ibiyeomie, who was represented by Pastor Charles Alikor and Pastor Oye Allen led the youths to Christ, after which they surrendered their arms and ammunition including one pump action, one police uniform ,two army camouflage, two locally made guns, one locally made pistol and a bag of charms. One of the cultist shrine was also said to have been destroyed at Mgbede community of Omoku community.
