Malia Obama Goes On A Date With British Boyfriend

She has already fallen in love with a British boyfriend. Now it seems that Malia Obama has developed a taste for British fashion too.

The eldest daughter of former US President Barack Obama wore a pair of black boots by Dr Martens as she enjoyed a romantic date in London last week.

Miss Obama, 20, wore the £130 shoes with a white summer dress to go for dinner with Rory Farquharson at Mayfair restaurant C London.

The couple, who both study at Harvard University, were first linked to one another after a video of them kissing emerged last year.


Mr Farquharson, who wore a pink shirt and blue trousers, was head boy at the £11,920-a-term Rugby School in 2016. He was described as popular and 'quite a catch' by one school friend.

He was pictured smoking a cigarette, a habit that Malia herself has enjoyed on occasions.Her father, Barack, was also a regular smoker before his time in the White House.

The Ivy League student also has links to the royals, as his second cousin was the Queen's Assistant Master of the Household at Buckingham Palace.

Miss Obama started at Harvard last year, following in the footsteps of her father and mother Michelle, who both studied law at the top American university.
