Stranger Disappears With 3-Year-Old Twins In Bayelsa

There was confusion in Yenagoa, Bayelsa State capital yesterday, after two male twins, aged three, were abducted by a strange man in popular Ekeki motor park.

It was gathered that the missing babies’ mother, identified as Mrs Modupe Joseph, had left for the market, leaving her four children, including the twin and two others, with the eldest a 10-year-old, in the care of her friend, identified as Aisha Ahmed.

Narrating what transpired, Aisha said a man in a black Sienna approached her and gave her N1,000 to buy food for the children for him to have some balance to buy airtime with, which she accepted following his persistence.


She said unknown to her, t.he man had also given the eldest child among the children N200 to also buy food for the children

While they were gone to buy the food, the man reportedly fled with the twin babies. Mrs. Joseph, who hails from Ondo State, said she came back from the market only to be told that her children were missing.
