I read the news of the YabaTech student that committed suicide in the papers today with a very heavy heart, bearing in mind that another student of OAU, my almameter, also was alleged to have done same some days back. So so very sad.
I want the young men and women out there to lend me their ears. Most especially those that may be contemplating suicide because of some situations they are passing through at the moment. Please don't do it! Regardless of the things you may be going through.
What so ever you're confronted with at the moment won't always be like this. Every problem we confront in life always expire. Infact the bible refers to those problems as “LIGHT and MOMENTARY TROUBLES (For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all.
2 Corinthians 4:17 NIV). There is a glory that by far supercedes these troubles by the time the troubles expire.
You will always find these statement all over the bible "AND IT CAME TO PASS". They ALL always come to PASS. Those troubles shall come to PASS. Everything making you afraid has expiry dates and they will come to PASS. When the night comes and darkness descend all over.
It always seem as if the the darkness would always be. But no matter how nighty the night may be, IT WILL ALWAYS ALWAYS COME TO PASS by giving way to the brightness and goodness of the morning.
When it rains, they say it pours. So was my situation for 7 bad and dark years of my life. All that could go wrong did went wrong. It seemed as if it would always be like that. But it came to PASS.
There is a tomorrow for you my friend, regardless of what is happening to you today, there is a glorious tomorrow awaiting you-if you don't faint and pack it all up today. Today is PASSING away. Today may be full of sorrow, I can guarantee you that tomorrow will be full of joy and laughter. Endure the pain today. Endure the shame today. Endure the lack today.
Because they would all soon pass away and never to be found it your tomorrow.
I contemplated committing suicide at some points in my yesterday, but I thank the Lord that I didn't. I would have missed the great and glorious time that God is making me to enjoy TODAY.

Interestingly, when the devil is about finishing you he would lie to you that you are the only one all over the world going through these problems. That is why you're always asking "why me? " He is a bad liar. IT IS NOT ONLY YOU! Others have been in your present situation before and they've overcome.
