The suspect, an indigene of Ondo State, was arrested by the operatives of the Federal Special Anti Robbery Squad (FSARS), on Thursday afternoon.
He (Babalola) was arrested following a tip-off by a member of the public who saw the suspect and his partner, now at large inside a bush with a human head.
According to a statement by the Police Public Relations Officer, Abimbola Oyeyemi, the FSARS operatives swung into action based on the information and discovered human head in a sack carried by Babalola.
According to Tribune, the suspect was reported to have confessed to the crime, saying the human head was meant for money ritual.
The head of the community, Chief Kasumu Sonola, was said to have commended the FSARS team for their quick response and routine patrol of the area.
He urged them to intensify the patrol in order to rid the area of criminals.
