UPDATE: WILL FUTO CONDUCT POST-UTME THIS YEAR?

Most of the aspirants of Federal University of Technology Owerri has been calling,
asking if there will POST-UTME Examination this year.
Now let me brief you guys on what this years admission screening process gonna look like.

On the 17th of August, 2017, the Federal Government of Nigeria lifted the ban on
POST-UTME for all tertiary institutions. This was made known by the Minister of Education,
Adamu Adamu in Abuja.

According to him, all tertiary institutions in Nigeria, (including, Universities, Polytechnics and other institutions) are free to organise POST-UTME screening as a precondition to gaining admission into public institutions (this means that the mode of admission now depends on the unanimous decision of the management of your preferred University).
The Minister added that why the FEDERAL GOVERNMENT initially scrapped the idea of
Aptitude Test in Tertiary Institutions is for FG to understand how operations were been carried out in tertiary institutions.
He however urged institutions and its authorities to make the fees for the POST-UTME screening affordable in order not to impose huge financial burdens on parents.

ON THIS NOTE, FUTO ASPIRANTS ARE THEREFORE ADVICED TO STUDY AND
PREPARE FOR POST-UTME & ALSO FOR THE NORMAL ADMISSION SCREENING EXERCISE AS THEY DON'T KNOW WHICH PROCEDURE THE MANAGEMENT
WOULD USE TO ADMIT THEM.

PS: WE WILL KEEP YOU UPDATED ONCE THE POST UTME/SCREENING STARTS YOU CAN DROP YOUR EMAIL OR PONE NUMBER TO RECEIVE FREE ALERT.
