An armed robber was set ablaze yesterday after he was caught while his accomplice, who managed to escape shot a woman dead outside a commercial bank at the Suru-Alaba area of Lagos state.
It was gathered that the two armed robbers tried to rob the woman after she stepped out of the bank but in the process because she din't corporate with them, they shot her in the head while trying to steal her money.
Unfortunately for them some passersby were fast enough to apprehend one of the criminals whom they beat up mercilessly and set ablaze while his accomplice escaped. The remains of the woman that was shot dead by the armed robbers has been reportedly deposited in the morgue.
